Leda is a middle-aged divorced woman dedicated to her work as an English teacher and her two children. When her daughters left home to be with their father in Canada, Leda imagined a time of loneliness and longing. Instead, a little embarrassed by the feeling, she felt free, as if her life was getting easier and easier. He decided to go on vacation to the beach in a small coastal town in southern Italy. But after a few days of silence and quiet, things started to get ominous. Leda meets a family whose presence is very disturbing, even frightening. When a small, seemingly insignificant incident occurs, memories of the difficult and unconventional choices she made as a mother and the consequences for her and her family flood Leda.
